Project for Cancer Epigenomics

Update : 2017-08-21

Overview

We are interested in understanding how and why the genome-wide epigenetic states change during the course of carcinogenesis and cancer development. We are trying to comprehensively understand cancer biology and hope to eventually discover something truly useful for patients. To this end, we believe that it is important to understand the pathophysiological significance and molecular mechanisms of epigenetic changes in cancer.

Projects

  1. Investigation of molecular mechanisms and pathophysiological significance of the epigenomic changes during cancer initiation and progression
  2. Epigenomic analysis of clinical samples that may yield important new information
