Introduction of an iPad application for foreign-language conversation

Touch and talk iPad application to assist the multilingual communication was introduced in the Cancer Institute Hospital. This application contains the standardized phrases for communication between the patients and medical staff, such as the guidance in the outpatient clinic or pre-surgery check. When the user touches a phrase on the display, the device speaks out the translated phrase. At present, Chinese-Japanese and English-Japanese versions are available.
