Overview
The final goal of Genome Center is to apply adequate therapies with more effect and less adverse effect to each cancer patient. To achieve as to say order made cancer therapy we take the single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) analysis approach mainly to predict the adverse effect and microarray analysis approach which can predict the response by various therapies. And also to screen the SNPs or expressed genes correspond to the phenotype from huge number of data, we are constructing an integrated cancer genome database.
Projects
(1) Prediction of adverse effect by single nucleotide polymorphism analysis
(2) Characterization of individual cancer by gene expression profile
(3) Developments and application of bioinformatical methods for cancer research and construction of lintegrated cancer databases for cancer research
