The Laboratory of Genome Research was established to promote genomic approach to studying molecular-targeted cancer therapy in January, 2005. Our ultimate aim is to contribute to the realization of personalized medicine that can cure cancer. Our basic concept is to create an effective medicine by clearly distinguishing between the case to be effective and the case not to be effective. Toward this purpose, we are trying to create an efficient system that can strongly promote the development cycle of the molecular-targeted therapy, by facilitating translation of basic knowledge to the clinic with the help of genome science.
